A/N: This is written for my friend Charisse, and meant as crack. Don't like OC's? Don't read it. Or read it with another pairing pictured. Idek.

"Ca--Can I see her? It's my baby! I'm the father!"
The nurse blinked seeing the young male looking at her with a look in his eyes that said everything about the devotion he already had for the child hadn't even seen yet. She nodded before stepping aside, sending the man a warm smile. He smiled back, bowed and eagerly entered the room where his wife and their newborn daughter were fast asleep.
The grin that lingered on his lips never left as he tiptoed towards their beds and lovingly he kissed his wife's forehead. "You did a great job, Hikari."
There was no response, thus he walked over to the hospital crib where his baby girl was fast asleep, her little fist in her mouth, not aware of the big wide world around her. He caressed her little head, surprised by the softness of the thin layer of dark hair that covered the newborn's skull.
Carefully he inspected her every inch before whispering, clearly relieved, "she's perfect."
"She looks like you."
He turned around, seeing his wife sitting in bed with a pout lingering on her lips, her blue eyes prying on him as if was is fault.
"Wha--what do you mean?" he stammered, looking at the baby and back to her mother. "Is that bad thing?"
"Of course it is!" this one cried, pointing at her sleeping daughter, "she looks like a noodle Kou! I won't dare to pick up my own child because I'm afraid she'll slip though my fingers."
Kouta blinked, confused, looking at his daughter and trying to find what there was so noodle-ish about his only child. "I don't think there's anything wrong with her," he pouted, clearly offended.
"Of course you don't see what's wrong with her," Hikari huffed, folding her arms, throwing him a glare, "because she looks like you. You are just as bad, thus you don't see what's wrong with it." She signed dramatically, "and here I thought my genes would prevent her from your... Noodle-ity."
"My what?!"
"Noodle-ity."
"What the hell is that for a word Hikari?!" the male spat.
"My word. I made it up! Isn't it cute?" All of a sudden the newfound mother didn't seem as upset anymore, as she contently started singsonging the word 'noodle-ity.' This earned her a weird look from her husband that now had no idea what to do anymore about the extreme mood swings of his wife.
"I'm gonna get some air," he muttered, slightly defeated. This surely wasn't how he had imagined the first time meeting his daughter.
He passed the nurse that had allowed him to go inside, only slightly nodding while making his way to the exit.
"Yabu-san?"
He turned around, seeing the nurse looking at him with concern. "Is everything alright?"
He sighed. "It's just... My wife... I.. She... Doesn't look happy with the baby."
The older woman nodded, understanding, "mood swings are very common right after giving labor. I'd advice you to get her something nice and she'll be back to her old self. I'm not trying to tell you her behavior was good, but you have to understand it is quite a thing to give birth to baby. It leaves a great impact and for some women it just takes a while for it all to sink in."
Only a tiny bit cheered up by the words of the nurse, he nodded, making his way to the hospital store where he followed her advice and bought chocolate and flowers. He decided it would be best if he gave Hikari the box of chocolate first. If she still was angry and started throwing with stuff he could use the flowers to protect himself and run away.
Nodding to himself he walked back to the room where Hikari and the baby, that he now realized was still unnamed, were and softly he knocked on the door.
"Who's there?" he heard his wife speak.
"Me..."
"Ah, Kou! Come in. She's awake."
Forgotten about the fact that he still felt down about what Hikari had said to him he quickly opened the door, that revealed his wife and their baby in her arms, as she softly cooed the baby girl in her arms. A dazzling smile was plastered on her face and Kouta couldn't help but sigh in relieve.
"I thought you wouldn't dare to pick up your noodle baby," he asked playfully as he approached her, his eyes glued to the bundle of human in her arms.
She laughed, bowed her head apologetically and grinned, "I decided I love noodles."
He bit his lower lip, not able to disguise the firm grin that appeared on his face.
She offered her hand to him, which he eagerly took. She pulled him closer to the bed, now for the first time facing the newest woman in his life. Two big grey eyes stared up at him, eyes he recognized from her mother. "I told you she's gorgeous..." he whispered clearly impressed by the little human in her arms.
Hikari grinned, "you're right. I told you she looks just like her dad."
He laughed, "she's got the best of both of us."
Hikari glowed, not answering that statement but not denying it either.
"We still need a name though." She muttered all of a sudden.
"What about Miki? With the characters for beauty and good."
She blinked at her husband, looking at her daughter and smiling at the man she loved again. "Miki-chan it is."
